Gundam OO Ep. 25 [Final][Spoilers]

First season of Gundam OO comes to an end with Episode 25. Continuing from last week episode, Setsuna takes on Alejandro one intense one on one battle mean while Hallelujah takes on the HRL duo. Not much to talk about aside from couple minutes of full action from both parties ^_^.

Setsuna manages to destroy Alejandro at the end, however, a new enemy comes unexpectedly at him. The new enemy is none other than Graham Aker who comes for revenge for his deceased teammates Daryl and Howard. He rides a Flag equipped with imitation GN Drive. Despite of his effort, Setsuna still manages to kill him, although, Exia is also badly damaged.

On the other place, Tierria finally comes to his sense and still tries to complete the mission by saving Naddleh’s solar reactor.

2 years later, 328 nations of the federation form into one nation called earth Federation and meanwhile, a new gundam is being constructed called Gundam OO using the solar reactor saved by Tierria.

So now the series has ended, what do I think about this series ? Lets see…… the ending is alright and there are couple cliffhangers (somewhat) leading to the next season although at the same time, there are some stuff that don’t make sense at all. Like for example, where the hell is Ali ? I always thought that the final fight would be between Ali and Setsuna but it turned out to be Setsuna vs Alejandro. Ali does not even appear after his encounter with Lockon so I wonder where he goes ^^

As typical of a Gundam series, Bandai kills a lot of characters toward the end (note: Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny) so same thing happened with Gundam OO. Overal I like the story or ideas behind Gundam OO and it’s pretty enjoyable to watch. At least, I am looking forward to it every week

Gundam OO Ep. 24 : They all die [Spoilers]

As you may already notice, I put a [Spoilers] tag as a warning for my readers since apparently,I ruined someone’s enjoyment with episode summaries containing spoilers . My summary may or may not contain spoilers so read it at your own risk .

Anyways, we are nearing the end of first season so the creator decided to ‘Lets kill couple more characters’ just for fun >.>. Well I guess it can be expected from a Gundam series for example, if we look back at Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny, many supporting characters die toward the end of series if I remember correctly.

Continuing from last episode, Lockon got killed ( Hurray!!!!!! ^_^ ) and Tieria blames on Setsuna because he was late due to his special mission. Fortunately, Sumeragi stops Tieria before things escalate further and give him a nice slap on teh face . Tieria needs to stop whinning honestly >.>.

Couple lost from last attack does not make the Union gives up easily. A reinforcement is on its way to help eradicating the Gundam Meisters. Meanwhile, at Ptolemy, everyone is busy fixing, repairing and maintaining the Gundams so they all are ready for the next attack. As expected, the combined forces of Union, HRL and AEU are coming on their way to Ptolemy. Unexpectedly, Alejandro comes with a mobile armor and shoots a long range beam. Ptolemy is heavily damaged on the side.

The next 10-15 minutes are full of actions from both sides so it’s better if you watch it instead of telling about it . Although at the end, Ptolemy got shot down and 2 of the crews die XD. On the other hand, Setsuna tries to break the mobile armor GN shield with no luck.

Gundam OO Ep. 23 : My Wish Comes True

I have been busy all week with a big freelance project so no time to write an episode summary, although, I watched right after I downloaded it ^_______^. Episode 23 by Shinsen-subs is finally here and release on Tuesday as usual. Well… I have been hoping that one of main character gets killed since it nears the end of the first season. In this episode, my wish has been granted>Evil Grin<.

Aeolia Schenberg had prepared everything in advanced in case something happens to him. He left each original Gundams with the real solar reactor a Trans-Arm system and he erased all data about the Gundam Meisters from the Verda system. The Trans-Arm system is a double-edge sword. It does give a Gundam 3x more output, however, after reaching the time limit, the Gundam will run out of energy and only have enough for minimum usage until its solar energy has been recharged.

To prepare the upcoming encounters, the other 3 Gundams are being equipped with additional equipmets. Kyrios is added a Tail-Booster to increase manuvering ability and Dynames is equipped with GN-Armor. While Sumeragi and the 3 Meisters are having a discussion, they receive a message from Setsuna that a group of mobile suits with a immitation solar reactor are heading to Ptolemy. Kyrios and Virtue go out while Dynames stays due to Lock-on injuries.

Kyrios and Virtue are overwhelmed by the amount enemies with similar mobile suits. Ali with his Gundam Throne broke into Virtue’s GN field and Virtue is bombarded by the rest of mobile suits. On the other hand, Kyrios is affected by the super soldier on one of the mobile suit since they both have similar wavelength of brainwaves. Its tail-booster got hit and Allelujah is forced to ditch the tail booster.

In this situation, Sumeragi orders the Meister to pull back, however, Lockon decides to go out and is going to attack the enemy ships with GN-Armor. Kyrios and Virtue use their Trans-Arm system and overwhelm the enemies easily. Meanwhile, Lockon manages to destroy 2 of the battleships and is about to shoot the third before he was stopped by Ali with his stolen Gundam Throne.

Ali and Lockon are on battle one on one. Ali has the advantage since Lockon lost his good eye for sniping. His hate over Ali completely took over him since he found out that Ali was the leader of KSPA who was responsible for the bombing in Ireland. As the battle goes on, Lockon has to admit a defeat to Ali. Dynames is half destroyed and Lockon abandons it to continue with his plan to kill Ali. Haro takes care of Dynames and brings it back to Ptolemy.

Lockon sets a trap for Ali by using Dynames guns and waits for him to come. Unfortunately Ali notices his presence from the radar and shoots him. Lockon wastes no time and shoots. The Throne got hit and somewhat damaged, however, Dynames’ Gun gets shoot and no longer usable. The gun blows up and kill Lockon.

2 more episodes to go before the end of season. Episode 24 just aired last night so subbed version should be coming out in 2-3 days . Below is episode 23 streaming from Veoh.com

Gundam OO Ep. 22 : Trans-Am

Gundam OO Ep. 22 is finally here by Shinsen-subs. Little bit late than usual but it’s all good . At the end of last episode, Lockon got injured really bad because he was shielding Tieria from the enemy attack. I was hoping that he will die but it turns that he is pretty much alive and healthy except that he lost his good eye which he uses for snipping purpose. I guess main characters just don’t die easily.

Meanwhile, Tieria is sulking in the corner because Verda ditches him and he has no link with Verda which makes him pretty much useless or so he thought. And of course , he blames himself for what happened to Lockon.

Lisbon and Alejandro continues their hacking to Verda system. Lissbon has been able to break through level 6 so he just needs 1 more level to finally take control Verda.

After last failed attempt to kill the Thrones, HRL is getting ready for another Gundam pursuit. They destroyed their base in the last episode so now the Trinity siblings are on the run. Being in such disadvantages, Johann asks for help from Wang Liu Mei to get them to space. Unfortunately, they are little bit late as HRL is on their way already. The Thrones only have about 30% fuel left and they have to fight 9 GN-X. Seeing this, Johann told the rest not to waste resources carelessly. Of course, Michael blindly attacks the GN-X and his effort seems to be fruitless and then they decide to retreat XD.

The rest of Gundam Meisters are discussing what will be their next step since they have no more help from Verda. The attack on The Thrones is considered as a warfare which needs arms intervention so there he goes , Setsuna, flying to help the Trinity. Lasse Aeon tags along with Setsuna with the newly brought GN-arms. I have no idea what it does exactly. It looks like an airship but not really. By the name alone, it’s most likely an attachment but I haven’t seen it used so far.

The Trinity siblings manage to escape , however, they were surprised by Ali’s arrival which seem to be meant of good will. Knowing Ali with his craftiness, he shoots Michael while they are talking and Johann. Luckily Nena is on stand by and manages to escape and Johann is let go just to make things more interesting. Johann and Nena are surprised by Throne Zwei ridden by Ali. He manages to overwrite the code and hacks Throne Zwei. Ali easily defeats Throne Ein and is about to finish off Throne Drei but Exia comes to the rescue. At the same time, Lisbonn manages to clear level 7 and take control over Verda. It turns that Aeolia Schenberg had prepared counter measures in a case someone manages to break into security.

Exia and Throne Ein are engaged each other, however, Exia gets pushed back (because Ali has more experiences as a pilot ?) and the last moment when Ali is about to kill Setsuna , Exia receives a new power directly Verda who grants a new system to all Gundams that use GN Drive (I assume he is talking about the original GN-Drive not the imitation ones). Exia turns into all red which is the full power of the GN Drives. The new system is called Trans-Am system. Setsuna completely overwhelms Ali with his speed and agility and Ali is forced to retreat.

Gundam OO Ep. 21 : Lockon’s dead ?

Every episode is getting better and better in my opinion. In earlier episodes, the gundams are pretty much overpowered and can beat the crap outta other mobile suits. However, Lagna Harvey brought 30 new mobile suits equipped with an imitation of GN Drive so both side are pretty much equal.

Continuing from last episode, Kitsune got killed by Ali and Saji was asked to confirm the identity of his sister at the corpse room XD. Pretty sad view for us to see considering what Saji had to go through with Louise and now his sister is dead…… Emoooooooooo Moments…………….XD.

Meanwhile, Alejandro and Lisbon are continuing their infiltration at the Veda’s base. Lisbon ,who has similar power as Tieria, is hacking and trying to break Veda’s security. While in the process, he gave Alejandro some interesting information about Harvey Lagna who merely just a pawn for them. Since they have no use for him anymore, he is terminated ie. assassinated at his own palace.

Sumeragi, the tactical and strategy planner, has prepared a counter-measure for their own protection. She asked her subordinates Christina and Feldt to design a new Gundam OS completely separated from Veda so they will have a backup incase something wrong with Veda. After long tireless hours, Christina and Feldt finish the new OS.

Soon after, their radar detects 19 mobile suits coming toward their ship. All 4 Gundams are deployed to assault the combined army of Union and AEU. The new mobile suits with GN drive managed to destroy Virtue’s GN field with no hassle at all and Dynames’ rifle. In the middle of battle, the gundam system is shut down by Alejandro who is at Verda’s HQ. Seeing this Sumeragi told Feldt and Christina to use their home-made backup OS which works perfectly, however, something is wrong with Virtue which unable to power-up back. The Gundams are being suppressed by the enemies and they try to take on the defenseless Virtue. Patrick Colasour finally breaks their defense line and goes straight to Virtue. At the last moment, Dynames shields in front of Virtue but it’s broken through and Lockon got injured really bad (or die ? who knows XD). Luckily , Lasse comes at the perfect time and saves the Gundam Meisters with a GN arm ( I think).

At the same time, HLR squad is on their way to Trinity’s HQ, however, they are caught off guard by Throne’s Eins long range beam and it destroys one of the mobile suits.
