For many figure collecteors in general out there, being able to access English version of a japanese website gives us a lot information about the latest releases in the world of figurines without using an online translator which most of the time is not dependable.

Fellow comrade known as Danny Choo has just released an English version of Good Smile Company website using a latest version of Mirai Gaia platform.  The same platform that he uses on his website www.dannychoo.com. Danny has been working with Good Smile Company for quite a while as you can see from his frequent visits at GSC office and a recent article at GSC office.

Danny is also a part of GSC’s International Strategy Team with a mission to make more figures available internationally so for most of us, figure collectors outside Japan, we can expect to being to able to buy figures easily with less shipping cost hopefully ^^. Honestly, I am really excited on what Danny and GSC can do for us in overseas because most of the time, we got screwed in the shipping cost of figures and not to mention border fees ^^;;.

The website is currently on beta stage so bugs and errors can be expected , however, I personally like the overal look of the website and the color scheme that it uses. It runs smoothly. Despite of being similar to dannychoo.com in term of colour, the colour scheme of the new GSC english website fits its logo colour which I don’t mind ^^. A lot of features and additional User Interface will be added in the future. I guess for us figure collectors, we couldn’t wait to see a shopping cart and its online ordering section. In addition, Danny is planning to introduce an affiliate scheme in the future for website owners and bloggers. I honestly couldn’t wait to see the growth of the new GSC english website and future additions.

Lastly, I would like congratulate Danny with the launch of the new GSC website using Mirai Gaia and glad to see that his business is growing. Looking forwards for more things from him in the future ^^.

3 Translators are wanted at www.dannychoo.com and payments will be made in term of latest figures. This would be a dream job for most otaku/figure collectors including me. Unfortunately my Japanese skill involves of using Babelfish to translate XD. This would be a great opportunity for anyone who speaks Japanese and good addition to your resume.

ARghhhhh, I wish I can read Japanese well -_-. Payment in figures would be too hard to resist.

Big explosion happened around 4am EDT in Downsview area (Wilson and Keele). People have been evacuated to York University and some part of 401 highway is closed to avoid traffics going near the explosion area.

Wow I just heard this from my friend and couldn’t believe something like this could happen especially I used to ride on Greyhound Bus. It reminded me of random stabbings in Akihibara that happened just recently. This is a total slap on the face for Greyhound bus since people will be scarred to ride on Greyhound :(.

So here I am full awake at 6am because my gum is all ache and my jaw feels weird. I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed yesterday; been wanting to do this since forever and finally I got the time and $$$ ( almost fainted when I looked at the bill >.>. No new figures/anime merchandise for a while ).

The process took about 2 hours and a lot of blood were still coming out from my mouth until this morning. What sucks is that I can only eat soft food like congee, ice cream, yogurt, etc.

Btw, my cheek is all big and red like Pikachu ^^;;

It’s going to take at least 1 week to heal and another week for everything back to normal. Sigh… I want to eat normally -_-;; but on the good side, I am glad it’s done and nothing happened during the operation ^^.

Sorry for the lack of post lately as I’ve been busy with packing and just arrived at Jakarta 2 days ago. Instead of the usual anime/figure posts, I thought I would post about my trip to back home.

It’s been more less 4 years since the last time I went back home to Jakarta, Indonesia. In all honesty, I don’t miss living in Jakarta after spending 8 years in Canada ^^. The only thing that I miss is my family and the food basically.

Anyone had a long flight before ? I was definitely not looking forward to to 24 hours flight including 3 hours transit time in Hongkong. It’s bad and jet lag pwned me basically afterward.

After seeing bunch of members at dannychoo.com posting about their rooms, it inspires/urges me to post my room. Unlike other most Otaku rooms, my room looks pretty normal(not otaku enough) compare to other otakus’ rooms like Rin’s or James’.

I always hold back on buying new stuff for my room as I don’t have my own place and am renting a room on a basement of a house.

Anyone is getting the new 3G iphone ? It’s coming on July 11th in 22 countries where Canada is one of them. Very exciting news for those who live in Canada since we (or I) have been longing for iPhone for so long since the US releases and we have to buy the jailbreak version which was going for $400 to $600

The new 8G version is only $199 with 2 or 3 years contract which is pretty reasonable / cheap for a new phone. I probably am going to sign up with rogers and ditch my fido >.> if the data plan is really good. Anyone likes soccer or football ? Well, Euro 2008 is starting tomorrow and the first match will be Switzerland and Czech Republic @12 noon EDT. In case anyone is wondering why I talk about soccer all sudden is because I love soccer probably as much as I love Anime or computer hardware. And yes, I have multiple hobbies -_-;; which all of them are bad for my pocket.

Anyways, I think a big event like Euro 2008 is worth a post in my blog , although, I do wish I have a separate blog to talk about soccer only but at the same time, 2 blogs would be too much time consuming for me.

My friend and I went to Vaughn Mills Mall by Highway 400 on Saturday. I didn’t really have anything to buy but my friends wanted to get a new bag for school and I never been to Vaughn Mills Mall before (it’s kinda sad since I have been living in Toronto for 2 years already).

We went for quite a long ride before arriving at Vaughn Mills Mall. I may have not been to Vaughn Mills Mall but I know how to get there from google map, however, I was wrong to trust her on direction >.> . 45 minutes later, we finally arrived. Mall is just mall I guess since every malls look more less the same ^^.
