Another Otaku’s blog about Anime, Figures, Games and Various Events
The Last Remnant is the latest installment RPG created by Square-Enix which will be out on March 24th, 2009 for $39.99. It is a pretty cheap for a PC games in comparison to most console games (ranging from $50-$60) and I guess piracy may have something to do with it. The XBOX 360 version was sold at $59.99. More pictures and info after the cut.

It really amazes me how people can come with unique(re: silly) product ideas related to gaming(re: WOW) in general these days and I happened to be one who bought the product as part of my collectibles.
I believe Rin showed me this product through someone’s blog. I couldn’t remember the blog address ^^;; and my friend thought of getting tshirt from Think Geek so without further hesitation, I told him to get me those mana potions ^^.
The suplement facts don’t make any sense at all and not sure if it’s true or not. Regardless which one, I am not going to drink it >.>. If anyone interested in getting these, you can get it at Think Geek or its official website.
Saber seems to be enjoying the mana potion ^^
If they have the commercial for this, it would be even more hilarious like the one with healing potion from FFXII.
So a question for my readers, do you ever buy weird/unique products like this before ? if yes, what is it ? ^^

I preordered more figure which will be coming on December 2008 and at this rate I may have to live under a bridge >.>, although, I consider those figures as Christmas gift for myself and I am really good at spoiling myself ;p. Depending on my budget so I’ll see ^^;;, I may have to cancel some of them or add more lol.

Stardock announced The Gamer’s Bill of Rights a day before Penny Arcade Expo. It contains list of standards or guidelines that they hope to be followed by game developers/publishers in particular PC game developers. The document was aimed toward PC games because console games developers already have some standards set by Nintendo, Microsoft or Sony. The objective of The Gamer’s Bill of Rights is
to increase the confidence of consumers of the quality of PC games which in turn will lead to more sales and a better gaming experience.
PS2 is not dead yet apparently so it was a right decision to keep my ps2 around ^^. NIS America announced that Ar Tonelico 2 will be out this December for ps2. Having just recently played Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia back in June, this is a really good news for me because I was worried that NIS America may not release it due to decreasing popularity of ps2.

A game developer named Cliff ‘cliffski’ Harris from Positech Games, a small independent PC games company in UK, has been wondering why people (pirates) pirate games (re: his games) and out of curiosity and good intentions, he posted in a well known forum and site: slashdot and Penny Arcade forum . From both, his question made it to arstechnica, digg and bnet.
I blamed my friend, TJ, for this misery……. he got me into World of Warcraft -_-;; Hope it does not consume my life…. oh wait…. maybe it already does. If my blog is lack of posts, blame on WoW ^^.
I play Blood Elf Rogue on Darkspear PVP Server ^^ and my character name is Arukas.
Gotta love Kinokuniya and you always come back for more goodies XD. I bought 2 Death Note keychains and a FFXI comic. Well, the keychains are gifts for friends but I am keeping the ffxi comic

Ignorance is bliss you may say but I wish I noticed sooner about this game and not like, a year after the US release. I know it’s sad ^^;; and kinda embarrassing. I spent 15 hours this past weekend playing this game ^^;; and I have to say it’s kinda addictive with all the battle system, synthesizing (grathmeld) and cosmosphere. I managed to finish Phase 1 and currently working on Phase 2 with Aurica path and currently on lvl 9 cosmosphere :D.
RPG mixed with dating sim is always enjoyable for me like for example, Thousand Arms back in PS one or Persona 3 (too bad I got bored with this after a while for some reasons). The old style of turn based rpg system never gets old on me ^^ and I still enjoy it up to this day, although, more and more rpgs are made with non- turn based.
Any similar PS2 games that you guys can recommend to me ?
