I installed a new theme for my blog and I am liking it so far. It’s thesame theme that is ued in ACG NA website. I may change the color scheme later on when I have a chance ^^;;.
I’ll appreciate any feedback about the new layout. Tell me what you like and what you don’t like.

It looks good, but I notice there are more clicking involved. I actually forgot what your old layout looked like, so I can’t compare, lol. Even though there are more clicking involved, I do like the front page ^^

I guess I’m just used to seeing all the comments on one page instead of clicking to “Older Comments”. Just curious how you set up the front page too if it’s random posts that show up on the front or is it chronological order?

For the front page, the slideshow at the top is recent post. The one under it (thumbnail style) is for events only. The thing with a post with a lot of comments is that the page is really long ^^;
A new layout! Interesting, ‘though it takes time for me to get used to it.
However, there are a few things that confused me a little bit. The slideshow shows the latest 5 posts, which is fine, but are the 3 Anime Expo posts below it supposed to be featured posts of some sort? The compact tags of latest posts, popular, comments, and tag clouds look neat. Then there’s also the 5 latest posts underneath the Anime Expo thumbnails. In general it feels like that they’re everywhere, so I am still getting used to it at the moment. Hm… I don’t really know how to improve things (since I am not in designs and layouts), but perhaps a few more thumbnails or banner will be a nice touch? Afterall it’s just my humble opinion but I hope it’s ok for you.
P.S. The comment form does not allow “Q” as my name (it needs at least 2 characters)! T_T

T.T that’s weird. I didn’t know that it does not allow 1 character because I only changed the theme. Let me see if I can remove that restriction. I figured that it’s for preventing spams.
I really appreciate your feedback and what you wrote is exactly what I am looking for because I want to know what visitors see and what the first things you see and what the next things you see and so on.
This theme allows me to control what’s in the slideshow, the thumbnails under slideshow and also underneath the thumbnails.
Actually the ones under the thumbnails are from ‘Figure’ category only. Few more thumbnails sound good and originally I put 6 thumbnails instead of 3 thumbnails.
Looks okay to me, I think TBE also uses this theme? not sure, looks similar XD. Depends where you are heading with this theme, but it sure looks neater than the previous theme (if we are looking at the sidebar!)

Haha yes, the sidebar is a lot more organized. One of the reasons why I chose this theme. I still couldn’t decide what categories I should put.

Yah this theme has no banner because it’s a newspaper/magazine style theme. I appreciate your suggestion ^^.
What happen to the blue bg? I prefer the blue bg.
Well, it will take some time to get use to. Getting use to white bg should be easy as my theme is white as well. ^^
Certainly it looks neater than ur last theme with the structured sidebars. I still find a custom banner would be nice. Any chance u can throw one in without affecting the top design all that much?

I may have to push down the blog content a bit to accommodate the top banner. The search box can also be reduced in term of size. Everyone seems to mentioned about the top banner so I will add that later on along with my mascot ^^. Thanks for you input ^^.

Popular tab on the sidebar has been disabled until I figure out a fix in ie >.<. ARghhhhhh ie
