I couldn’t resist but to pre-order Hatsune Miku Black Rock Shooter 1/8 scale by GSC. Despite of her small size, it’s going to cost me around $90 USD ($115 CAD) + shipping but then looking at the amount of details, the price tag is pretty reasonable.
There are only 2 stores to pre-order BRS. The first one is Hobby Search and the other is HLJ and she is still available in both stores so regardless if you are a Miku’s fan or not, BSR is definitely a worthy figure to be added to your collection.

I’m personally not a big fan of Miku either. As Optic said, the details certainly justify the high price I personally can’t fork out that much for her. The World is Mine Miku maybe, but not this (though I personally prefer Kaito’s World is Mine)
I remember Panther saying that BRS strictly speaking isn’t Miku, but an independent work by someone of which people have found similarities with Miku (or something like that).
The monochrome-like tone is set very well. I like how the flame on the eye turns out to be, especially when viewed from the sides. Didn’t know that it would be as expensive as Saber Lily.

Am I the only one that didn’t know this was Miku? Maybe I am not that interested in this figure. Figure prices are so high and with our exchange rate, it is even higher -_-

@Optic: lol yah, Alter Signum is pretty pricey due to her size and I have no pre-order coming for August anyways ^^. Trying to limit myself to 1 figure/month (pre-order).
@GNdynames: I guess I have been captivated by this figure and not to mention the video + song have been stucked in my head for couple days already. The good side is a 1/8 scale because if it’s 1/7 or 1/6 , the price tag may jump higher and become unaffordable.
@Q: You are probably right and I see this figure as a ‘custom’ Miku as it’s quite different from the original. The flame on her eyes is awesome and I believe it’s cast-off able too. I can’t wait to have a photo shoot session with her ^^

sigh she is lovely but still I think its overprice WTF is GSC thinking…
I’m also interested in the world is mine miku but that isn’t going to be any cheaper either sigh…
@yumyu I was the same I have seen this picture a dozen times and always wonder whats the hype and only found out last week because wold is mine miku announce taht this was also a miku. I have seen the music video awhile ago too
but the fan base for miku is huge… I’m more interested in the figma

@balance: according to what I heard, Black Rock SHooter is not Miku but more like custom vocaloid created by fans using Miku’s voice
Im not a Miku fan either and i dont really like the song aswell but theres something about her design that got me.A BFG doesnt hurt either ^^
One of the things i love about her is the scar.Oh boy that sounds creepy o.0
