Do your parents read your blog ?

MY parents dont read my Blog.My mother isnt interested in this stuff and well my father doesnt know about this.Living on your own is such a fine thing ^_^

@Blowfish: I live on my own too and my parents and I are like thousand miles apart lol. They are interested more about non-anime related post like what I did and stuff according to my sister.

@GNdynames: Can I tell them about your blog ? ^^;;

@Q: They kinda knew that I have a blog but never expected them to read ^^;;. Actually my parents don’t really mind about my hobby and it’s really nice to have such an open-minded parents ^^. As long as I set my priorities right and being responsible, they let me do anything ^^. They even stayed at my place whenever they visited me so they got used to with my anime stuff.

I never think my parents were ever interested in this kind of stuff…

I didn’t want to believe it either, but my parents actually read my Blog ^^; I just found out about it recently too.

All of a sudden they just talked about it on the phone, and I was like “EHH??!!”~XD

I don’t know how they managed the find out, but they didn’t complain or anything about it, instead they give me their support ^^; Since English isn’t my 1st language, they just told me to continue at it so I can practice my English at the same time ^^

It motivated me to keep continuing also ^^

@James: I highly doubt that since they know what collections I have more less and not mentioned they’ve been to my room.

@wcloudxkumo: lol glad that I am not the only one. English is not my first language either so I agree with you that it’s a good practice.

Now that’s an interesting question. My parents read from time to time, but they don’t follow anime too closely and wouldn’t get a lot of the stuff I talk about. Not to mention I doubt they’d want to read random tl;dr stuff about shows they haven’t even seen.

But hey, at least they watch more anime than most parents, so it’s better than nothing. At first I figured it would be kind of strange to have my parents reading about my otaku escapades, especially when they reach into eroge and the like, but then again, it would be strange to ask someone to not read something that was publicly published online.

Good gods, I hope not. I know my sister’s got access to it, via my facebook adverts, but explaining to my parents why I’m reviewing an h-game is a conversation I don’t plan on having any time soon.

My parents would blame everything on my blog. IF I happened to do bad in school (hopefully not), they would blame everything on my blog saying that I do not concentrate on school work and always fooling around. But it happens. They have been over my shoulders when I got my Wii….and then my PS3…and when I was constantly working on my garage kit.

@yumyu: Unfortunately, your hobbies would always be the first ones to be blamed if you do bad in school and I had been in your position. The only thing you can do is do good at school and eventually your parents grow tired of blaming anything about your hobbies. Hang in there buddy ^^

Well, my parents may like my blog, at least my mom, anyway. Still, I know they haven’t read it yet, as they don’t know the URL (or do they…?)
