Kiss x sis (キス×シス)

Kiss x sis is a manga adaptation with the same title. It tells a story about a young boy named Keita who has 2 step sisters, Ako and Riko, who both are in love with Keita and always try to do ecchi stuff ^^;;. This post is definitely NSFW (Not Safe For Work) and Adult rated so proceed at your own risk.

When I watched  the OVA, the character design reminded me of an old anime that  Iwatched before and after a little bit of research , it turned out to be Mahoromatic. They both are drawn by Bow Ditama who were also involved in other series such as This Ugly Yet Beautiful World. You definitely will notice the similarity of character design between those 3 anime series.

You can read the manga version from its official website but it’s in japanese though ^^;;. Animenation production is done by Feel Studio which was also involved in many other well-known series such as Da Capo and Shibakane Hime.

OVA episode 00 is bundled with the manga vol 3 and the same goes to the manga vol 4 with episode 1 which will be released in May 22nd, 2009. It’s really unfortunate that the anime version will be in form OVA instead full 13 episodes or 24/26 episodes. I personally think that it has a lot of potential in term of story and of course, ecchi-ness ^^;;

Ecchi level seems to be on par with Mahoromatic but I think story wise, it might be better.  I highly recommend this anime for a good laugh and maximum ecchiness ^^ and also if you like this anime then you may like Ayu Mayu which has a similar story line.
