Emi Kizaki 1/8 PVC by Kotobukiya

Simple and elegant would be the best way to describe this recently released figure by Kotobukiya. Emi Kizaki is a character from Kurogane no Linebarrels. This figure is the first one to be released from Kurogane no Linebarrels amd there will be others coming along in the future, however, I am not planning to get the others ^^.

One thing that I really like from this figure is her natural/dynamic pose and expression. It looks like as if a gust of wind blows gently from the side. Her black shirt + skirt just makes her even more attractive in addition to holding a sword.

As for sculpt and painting, I only noticed very minor imperfections and it may be just a manufacture defect in my case since it is impossible to manufacture every figure exactly the same. Overall, Kotobukiya did an awesome job on this one and really live up to my expectation.

Really interesting way she’s set up on the base. Does she come pre-attached or did you have to fit her on the base? Any screws involved? Sword looks real sweet on this figure as well.

Haven’t caught the anime nor read the manga yet so I have no clue about her. But her fringe and eyes look really nice on this figure =)

are her lips intended to be that way? looks big (havent watch/read it yet)

@Shino: It comes pre-attached to the base so there is no need to screw anything and her sword is the only thing that comes separately.

@e-jump: It’s bigger than the anime/manga version ^^;;

She seems to be one of the few figures that have lips I have seen so far. Natural pose backed by the wind effect on her hair~

The way shes standing on her base is quite interesting.Makes her look like shes somewhere up high with wind blowing in her hair.
I dont like the overall black colorscheme tough.A little bit color wouldnt have heard eh?Its probably true to the original design tough?

@Blowfish: Yah it’s true to the original design. The ‘Juda’ faction people always wear black in the anime except Koichi but I haven’t seen her using a sword yet though.

didn’t buy her but she”s really nice !

sadly the base is typical Koto so not really great ^^
