Credit goes to my friend who told me about this cool new toy that ‘s just recently available for purchase in Japan. It’s basically a 3d hologram character that you interact and play around with it. ARis is sold for 9,800 Yen and for further info, check out its official website (It’s in Japanese though :S)
This thing is just too cool to miss it and I totally don’t mind having one as part of my figure collection. If anyone knows how to get this figure from outside Japan, please do let me know ^^.

It does not strike me as a figure I want to get, no idea why. I suppose the idea of bothering to spend more than a normal figure bugs me, as well as other things regarding the digital process.
However, it being inspired off Dennou Coil, which I really liked, is something that I find interesting and nice.

I too question the technology. I’d expect something a bit more practical from this breakthrough (not that this isn’t practical ^^;)
