A rare figure from Canvas 2 : Niji Iro no Sketch ( Canvas2 ï½žè™¹è‰²ã®ã‚¹ã‚±ãƒƒãƒï½ž ) which I bought from Fan Expo 2008 last week for $60. Expensive price tag but I like the series a lot and I rarely see this figure since it’s released long time ago. Canvas 2 is one of those series that I have watched multiple times already so getting this figure is totally worth it for me despite the price. I thought that another indoor photo shoots might be boring so Elis and I went for a walk at a park near where I live (actually, it’s a backyard of my house but she was not aware of that ^^) for outdoor photo shoots. This was my first outdoor photo shoot so I am pretty much a newbie ^^ but I think the results turned out ok and there are always rooms for improvements.

I had some difficulties attaching the figure to the base and after a while, it comes off by itself as you can see on below photo so she is somewhat leaning to the front. The base itself is nothing special and it’s just a plain round glossy base.

Her left bow is somewhat chipped on the edge. Click on the above picture to see the larger version or click here in order to view the chipped bow.

The paint on this figure is far from perfect especially on her hair. There are some spots left unpainted.

Overall quality of the figure is decent and not a lot of details, although, I like the school badge on her left arm. The thing that bugs me the most is the painting on her front hair and imperfect sculpt on her left bow. Other than those two, I like the figure since it’s from one of my favorite anime series (I never play the game unfortunately T.T) and triangle mouth is FTW. So if you like the series, this figure is highly recommended ^^

Awesome figure and nice shoot. An outdoor shoot seems to go pretty good with her. Her outfit seems to go with it ^_^

continuing from your last post, the greatest mystery of all time. why do anime girls only wear white pantsu!?

i love the totally blurred background in some of the shots. ^^

I’m not familiar with the series but I might check it out as it sounds familiar. A very nice outdoor. Looking at her stance, I hope she doesn’t lean in time.

@optic: It’s an old series from an ero-game back in 2005. Elis is one of the main character and if you like Clannad and Da Capo, you may enjoy Canvas 2 ^^

Great shots. I would choose outdoor shots because the lighting of my rooms always seem unfortunately bad and I don’t have time to build a lighting set/box thingie. The campus’ scenery here is great, so I’m hoping to take some shots with Saber^^

Nice pics , she’s cute but i’m scared of pantsu shots so you made me cried with your pics :’(

The figure getting of the base is a common problem for all older figures , it was always a bother

I have big respect for people that take shots of their figures outdoors even when its only their backyard.
She might not be perfect but you have consider her age and well youve got a figure of a character from your fav. series.That makes you appreciate her more i think.^^
