Saber Holiday Ver. 1/6 PVC by GSC

Gattai!!!!!

Another Saber figure is added to my Fate series figures collection and this time is the Saber Holiday version by Good Smile Company. Unlike other 1/8 figures that I have, this one is 1/6 scale (Yes James, I do buy 1/6 figures occasionally ^^). It was released back in October 2006 for 6,476 Yen ($59.00 US) so it’s quite an old figure andÂ I couldn’t remember where I got this from ^^;

The background colour works really well with her brown dress and base colour. I made them slightly darker than usual and the results still came up pretty well I think.

Saber refuses to wear her skirt.

She is blushing ^^

Pretty standard base

Is it just me or all figures wear white pantsu only ? I haven’t seen figures with a non-white pantsu ^^;;

Slight imperfection on her side legs as you can see the lines

The overall quality for this figure is high as one can expect from Good Smile Company with some minor imperfection on the PVC itself. I like the frilly part of her dress and her cute pose. Painting is nicely done and love how she is blushing ^^.

I honestly can’t get enough of her ^^

As for the colour of the panties, my Haruhi is wearing light green ones.

@GNdynames: Ah good to know so they do exist figures with non-white panties XD. I don’t think I can ever have enough Saberism

@CT: Thx ^^. I didn’t realize that until you mentioned it lol. The setup on my nikon d40 as the following:

Shutter: 1/40
Aperture: F13
Exposure: 0.0
Focal Length: 55mm

I need to reduce the aperture to F11 to make it slightly brighter I think.

@Rin: I only got 4 1/6 scale figures so far and the rest is either 1/6 or 1/7. Any Saber figures are a must get ^^.

She’s cute but too much Saber is too much :p

(but i know you’re a fan of her , especialy the Dark one (L))

At 1/40 and f13 you should be more than fine , that’s strange . You should use the mode than choose automatically the shutter speed and it’ll be fine

Anyway good job with the pics , as the background color goes very nicely with the figure

My Makoto Sawatari from Max has pink pantsu but yeah, white is the main colour. I think it stands out more. I want a figure who has black pantsu. Black = Sexy. xD

Chie Yoshioka has green and white stripe pantsu. And Sana Horiuchi has purple. Koko Tsukishima has black lol.
