ACG NA (Anime Comic Gaming North America) is a Toronto-based group who shares interest in anime, comic and gaming. The whole purpose of this community is to promote anime, comic and gaming to everyone, hence, the name is ACG. They currently work on expanding their activities through out North America and they look really promising so far. I was aware of their presence at Anime North last May at the artist alley where I bought a lot of prints from one of ACG NA artist.
Last night, ACG NA held a launch party which was their first event ever. It’s a small event for a bout 70ish 100ish(Tim told me it’s 100+ 
) people and the whole idea is just to get there, have fun and meet new friends just like any other similar convention.
Their first event was held at Star Walk buffet in Scarborough which is one of the best chinese buffet that I’ve ever tried ^^. Since it’s just a small con, the food was provided for those hungry otakus. I was originally hesitant whether or not to come but at the end, I came along anyways and had fun

Bunch of people playing Naruto fighting game on xbox360. I was playing for a bit against others. Funny thing was that it took us 10-15 minutes to figure out how to use ninjutsu. Rock Lee is overpowered in this game.

My favorite cosplay for the night. Sakura Kinomoto (I used the name “Saku” from Sakura ) from Card Captor Sakura. I couldn’t remember from which episode Sakura wearing this ^^;;

Original Character of hers. I bought bunch of prints from her at Anime North 2008 last May. Her name is Holly I believe.
The cosplayers had a chance to win bunch of prizes for many different categories from the best cosplay, the sexiest, best weapon and more.
Judging from this car alone, ACG Na has what it takes to promote anime, comic and gaming . Nice Itasha,
All in all, it was a great event and Tim Huang, creator of ACG NA, and ACG staff did a great job on holding this event. I am looking forward for more events by ACG NA in the future.

It’s normal you couldn’t remember which episode the card captor sakura cosplay was from … Because Sakura don’t wear this costume in the anime either in the manga. It’s not a good cosplay, it’s not really a card captor sakura cosplay, more a styled cosplay.
