Banana is a snack? PVC 1/10 Scale by Solid Theater

I bought this figure at Anime North 2008 last May for $45 from Anime-Xtreme booth. This was more like a sudden purchased or SAF (suddenly acquired figure). The reason I got was because her expression is cute and the whole idea of “Banana is a snack?” theme.

I am not sure what the white base represents with 1 green thingy and 1 red thingy.

The sculpture of her hair was done badly and not smooth

At least, she has a cute banana panty ^^.

She lost one of her shoes for some reasons

Overall quality of this figure is mediocre and it’s not up to what my expectation. I kinda regret buying this figure after see the quality for $45.

For a figure like this. It should have been a bit cheaper.
The quality of this figure is okay in my books.
Well, it’s a good figure.
Well, a white background could had worked for this fig. Anyways, this background is nice.

she’s quite old figurine isn’t she?

$45 is quite okay, can be cheaper tho

nice photos, but I spot some blurryness, is it possible to set the f/stop on the camera?

Yah it’s possible. My camera is nikon d40 with 18-55mm lens. I set it to manual mode with auto-focus. f/stop was set to 5.6 and shutter speed was 1/60 I think.

I couldn’t get it lower than 5.6 but sometimes I can if I change other settings. I use ISO800 and tungsten for white balance.

you need to set it lower, like f/11 or f/16 for this kind of shoot (lower = bigger number, since it’s a 1/x number..)
