Hi Saku,

Coincidentally read your story in internet. I saw your photos in Cosy restaurant, and seeing the food look very delicious. Would you be kind sharing me some information about this restaurant, so on November this year when I am heading back to Jakarta have also something to look forward to beside my family ? Hopefully I can hear from you soon.

@Espydon: Cool, didn’t know you were from Malaysia.

lol the food pictures got everyone hungry . I don’t think it’s that strange because I grew up with asian food, Indonesian food to be exact so I miss eating them but then again, I am like you because I enjoy burgers and hotdogs as much as Indonesian food.

Most of my Indonesian/asian friends who moved to Canada after high school still prefer asian cooking compare to western food. I avoid them currently though due to healthy reasons ^^;;

Nice pics! This is interesting ’cause it got me thinking about the last time I left my country and went back home (to Malaysia), which was in 2001. On the plane, they had screens too where I could play Super Nintendo games (I played Zelda 3, haha) and watch movies, so it was pretty awesome.

And the picture of the beef ramen — I don’t know why, but after looking at that I am really craving for some right now; this is seriously one of the first times that it’s ever looked so good.

It’s a bit strange because I’ve never been much of a “food person”, and most Asian food has never caught my tastes much either. I could probably credit that to the cooking I was brought up on which probably had me develop some kind of strange phobia, or perhaps… I’m just a really bitchy person, and I’m inclined to believe that I have a child’s taste buds because the only things I ever enjoy are stuff like pizza, hot dogs, etc.

When I went back though, I did enjoy the curry, satay, etc though.

Good stuff, man. I hope you enjoy your trip. C:

@James: Yes, I am still alive ^^. Thx ^^. Those statues are so random and not sure why they were put there lol.

@Rin: You must be really excited about your trip to Japan because it’s not only just because it’s Japan but also your first trip out of the country. Gonna fly with JAL (Japan Airlines) I assume ? I heard they have cute 3d girls (the stewardess) XD on the plane.

Hongkong airport is really huge and much better than Toronto Pearson. In addition, it’s built on the water ^^.
