Another Otaku’s blog about Anime, Figures, Games and Various Events

It’s no secret that I am a big fan of Fate series ^_^ so most of my figures are from the Fate series. Caren Hortensia is one of the characters in Fate / Hollow Ataraxia ( フェイト/ホロウアタラクシア). I haven’t read the novel yet but it does not stop me from getting this figure.
I bought this figure from www.hlj.com for ¥4,290 (approximately ~$41). It’s quite challenging to take some pictures since my lightbox is kinda limited in term of space and this figure is pretty wide because of her red cloth of Magdala.

Weird angle shoot ^^
Griffon certainly did a nice job on this figure. I like her eyes the most since it’s painted in detail. The red cloth is not detachable unfortunately but she looks weird without her red magdala. I was hoping it is when I saw this figure at Hobby Link Japan. Oh well, she looks elegant with her reg magdala ^^ anyways

I am reading fate/zero series right now too. I am up until Act2 part 4. I am reading translation version though from http://www.baka-tsuki.net/project/index.php?title=Fate/Zero . I will buy the novel one of these days.
Maybe I could get it at Anime North on Friday…
I have a real slim chance though…
Definitely slim chance and you might have to ask every dealers in the dealer room if they have it or not. You can also try Nominoichi.
I am so excited about tomorrow and I just looked at the scheduling. Can’t waiiiiitttttttttttttt for tomorrow. Going to pickup my badge tonight ^__^
Maybe I’ll see you at AN!!!!!!!
If you want to look for me, I’ll be wearing for a Megatokyo Baka t shirt (black)…I’ll be also wearing a Bleach Tenth Squad chain…
A very nice figurine. I like the colour scheme and the costume. Her face is well done, too. Often the faces turn bad when it’s in 3D, but not this figurine.
@Rin: Cool, I hope I’ll see you around. I will be wearing FSN Excalibur Tshirt
@M12: Yah , the details are awesome on this figure. Most faces turn bad because of the mass production ( I think) so it’s slightly different from the original sculpture. In this case, I think the credit also goes to the manufacturer ^^
