After unsatisfactory result from last photo shoot for Rin Tohsaka Swimsuit by Clayz, I made some major changes on how I did it. As I said in my last post , I bought some vellum paper for my lightbox which I made from scratch. The vellum paper costed me around $8 after tax for 4 sheets.
I think the result is much better than before since I used 3 lamps in total. I got 2 extra work lamps for $9.99 each from IKEA ^^. Cheap stuff but they work well for my lightbox.

My lightbox setup ^_^

Overall I am happy with the result however, the background needs some more works since it’s a white background so I need to adjust the white balance on my camera more. White fabric probably works better as the background instead of white paper which I took from FSN 2007 Calendar. More decoration would be nice too like a beach background, umbrella, sand, rocks etc as I saw other bloggers did it (can’t remember who -.-)

Nice!!!
The lighting is a lot better. Nice job!!!
I actually don’t do that when I do my shoots. I don’t put my figure into a light box. I actually just used a simple set up. With a white bg and one lamp above with one at the side with a home made reflector at the other side. It does the work. I plan to increase the side of the bg and change the color.
Still, real nice job on the light box!!!
Thx
I got the lightbox idea from googling around and also someone posted a link to http://www.gamerabaenre.com here which has a guide for figure photo shoot and lightbox ^^
Btw, I found a wordpress plugin called flexible-upload (http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/flexible-upload.zip) that will allow me to automatically put watermark everytime I upload a picture so it saves a lot of my time. It might be useful for you.
That’s a good idea. I’ll try it. Thx for the tip…
